A local business owner — and a voice for the next generation — committed to responsible growth, strong neighborhoods, public safety, and a brighter future for Independence.
It's time Independence had a seat at the table for the next generation — with fresh perspective, hard work, and a real stake in our city's future.
I'm running because young families, first-time homeowners, and lifelong residents all deserve a city council that listens first and plans ahead. New perspectives combined with hard work, accountability, and a genuine commitment to serving our community — that's how we build Independence's future together.
Jantzen Wittrock is a local business owner and Northern Kentucky University student who has chosen to build his life and his future right here in Independence, Kentucky. He believes our city is one of the best places in Northern Kentucky to raise a family, start a business, and put down roots — and he's committed to keeping it that way for the generations to come.
This campaign isn't about politics. It's about service. Jantzen is running to bring a new perspective to City Council — one paired with hard work, accountability, and a genuine commitment to the people of Independence. He believes responsible growth should strengthen our city while protecting the character of the neighborhoods we love.
As a voice for his generation, Jantzen wants to make sure young families, first-time homebuyers, and small business owners have a real say in the decisions that shape our community — while honoring the residents and traditions that made Independence special in the first place.
"Independence is my home, and its future is my fight — for the families here now, and the ones yet to come."
